From our work / Healthcare
Built around the realities of a cardiology practice.
A practice operating across four sites, with mobile sonographers, patient registration and referral workflows. The project brings application development, imaging requirements and reliable connectivity into one delivery context.
Registration, referrals and the way staff work across locations inform the scope. CardioCIS is a custom application developed around this practice’s needs.
The application is deployed in a working demo environment. The wider project includes network installation, firewall and switching infrastructure, and a backup internet connection to support resilience.
In progress
Production rollout and PACS integration are being developed. Imaging requirements include equipment that provides DICOM and equipment that provides JPEG, so the integration must account for both.
Each facility’s setup reflects its own needs. Sharing between practices is optional and depends on agreed permissions, appropriate consent, access controls and applicable requirements.
